I had a decent stay at the hotel, which is ideally situated right off the highway and offers stunning mountain views. The rooms were spacious and included a large, comfortable bed, although they felt a bit dated and could use some refreshing. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, but the overall service needed improvement in certain areas. While the location is great for accessing the ski hill, it's quite far from downtown and many amenities.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms had everything I needed, featuring a large and comfortable bed, but they felt a bit outdated and needed some freshening up.
Service
7.0
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but the service fell short in some areas like housekeeping and laundry, requiring additional forms to be filled out.
Location
8.0
The location was great with stunning mountain views and a river behind the resort, though it wasn't very walkable to downtown and was a bit distant from restaurants.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining experience to be quite disappointing as the breakfast options didn't match the premium price of the stay.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included pet amenities, which is a plus, but could definitely use some better maintenance.

The hotel has a great location with stunning mountain views and a river running behind it. Unfortunately, I found the rooms quite run down and poorly maintained, which really affected my stay. The service staff were friendly and accommodating, making a positive impact on my experience. While the dining offered some nice views, the food could definitely use a little more flavor. Overall, it was nice but not ideal for the price.

Rooms
5.0
My room felt really cramped and like it belonged in a basement. The furnishings seemed outdated, and I had to plunge the toilet myself. The overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired, as the carpets weren't vacuumed during my entire five-day stay.
Service
7.0
The service was quite friendly, especially the staff in the lounge. They did seem to struggle a bit with cleaning and restocking during breakfast, which could have been improved.
Location
8.0
The location was really beautiful, nestled right by a river with wonderful mountain views. It felt a bit isolated though, being miles away from any restaurants, even if it was only a short drive to the ski hill.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast included waffles with a lovely view of the river, but I wished the food had more flavor. It felt like it could be better with a fresh perspective.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities looked a bit outdated and required some care and attention to be more inviting.

The hotel had some ups and downs during my stay. On the plus side, the location was fantastic, right between downtown Fernie and the ski hill, which made it super convenient. The family-friendly atmosphere was great, and the kids had a blast. However, I found the rooms in need of repair, and the dining options were limited at best. Overall, it's a decent spot, but I believe they could improve on a few things.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were run down, with a few issues like an electrical socket hanging off the wall and a mattress that had a bed spring sticking out, which unfortunately caused an injury.
Service

The service was okay; the staff tried to help with the issues we faced but didn’t feel very friendly overall.
Location
9.0
The hotel is perfectly located right off the highway, between downtown Fernie and the ski hill, with stunning mountain views and a river behind the resort.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was limited, and the breakfast options were not impressive even by free hotel breakfast standards.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities could use some attention, with repairs started but still needing work for a better experience.

The hotel has a great location right beside the river, which makes for peaceful strolls, but the rooms are a bit outdated and can be noisy due to the nearby highway. The service is super friendly and accommodating, and while the dining experience offers some nice views, the options for breakfast could definitely use improvement. Overall, it’s not a bad place for a family with kids, but some updates would help enhance the stay.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms felt outdated and a little dingy, and with a preschooler and toddler, it didn’t work perfectly for us. Plus, being one of the closest rooms to the highway meant I wore earplugs and still heard traffic throughout the night.
Service
9.0
The service was super friendly and accommodating, especially with our early check-in. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated right along the river, making for serene walks, and it's conveniently located near the ski hill. Although it’s a bit of a distance from restaurants, it offers a quiet spot just off the highway.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast had nice views of the river but could improve with more options, as it felt understocked for the number of guests.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities offered useful amenities like housekeeping and ski equipment rental, but overall, they felt average.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, with a great location right by the river and beautiful mountain views. The rooms were comfortable, although they could use a little updating. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my experience even better. However, the dining options were just average and didn't quite match the price of the room, which was a bit disappointing.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were comfortable, and I especially loved the balcony overlooking the river. However, they do feel a bit dated and could use some freshening up.
Service
9.0
The staff went above and beyond, especially accommodating my wife's mobility issues by allowing a special entry to the pool area. They were friendly and attentive to our needs.
Location
8.0
The hotel has a fantastic location right by the river, perfect for taking a stroll. It’s just a short drive out of town, which is quite convenient.
Dining
6.0
The dining was decent for a continental meal but didn’t quite live up to the price of the room. I was hoping for something a bit more exciting.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities, especially the pool area, were clean and inviting, though it would be nice to see some updates.
